Committed to play baseball at the University of South Carolina prior to signing with the Texas Rangers in 2013...Attended Winder Barrow (Ga.) High School.


Played his fourth professional campaign between two High-A stops within the Texas Rangers and Atlanta Braves organizations in 2016...Opened the 2016 season with High-A High Desert of the California League and clubbed 25 home runs with 59 RBI and 13 stolen bases, while batting .272 (90-for-331) in 88 games prior to a midseason trade from Texas to Atlanta on 7/27...After joining the Braves organization, played in 35 games, all with the Carolina Mudcats, and batted .250 (31-for-124) with three home runs, 11 RBI, 21 runs scored and a .384 on-base percentage through the remainder of the season...Set career highs in nearly every offensive category including career bests with 28 home runs, 29 doubles, nine triples, 70 RBI, 17 stolen bases, 94 runs scored and 123 games played for the High Desert Mavericks and the Carolina Mudcats... Combined to hit a career-high 28 home runs between High Desert and Carolina, eight more than any other Braves minor leaguer…Also combined for a career-high 70 RBI which would rank third among Braves farmhands...
