Coaches youth basketball in the offseason, including a team with his cousin on the roster... Helps train youth athletes at the Excel Baseball Academy in Oxford, AL.

2017

Made 41 appearances out of the bullpen over three stints with the Rays (4/16-7/31, 8/15-23 and 9/3 through the end of the season)…Had a 3.35 ERA (19 ER/51.0 IP) in 34 appearances through his first two stints and a 9.95 ERA (7 ER/6.1 IP) in his final seven games... Collected the first two saves of his career, 4/28 at TOR and 6/21 vs. CIN...
