  • Braves Strike Out Hunger Fridays Presented by Kroger: The Braves will host a food drive prior to every Friday home game during the 2013 season to benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Fans can donate 20 cans of food or $20 at the Strike Out Hunger Tent and receive an autograph from a Braves pitcher. Limit of one signature per donation.   • Friday Night Rising Stars Series: The Atlanta Braves Friday Night Rising Stars Series provides an opportunity for up-and-coming bands ready to rock and entertain thousands of fans at Turner Field, a stage to perform prior to select home games as well as postgame during the 2013 season. Atlanta icons and 70s tribute band, Yacht Rock Revue, will jam with fans at Turner Field.
  • MLB Honorary Bat Girl Contest: Joan Dumas from Homer, GA is the winner of the 2013 Honorary Bat Girl for the Atlanta Braves. The "Going to Bat Against Breast Cancer" contest recognizes baseball fans who have been affected by breast cancer and demonstrated a commitment to eradicate the disease. Dumas will serve as Honorary Team Captain prior to the Braves vs. Dodger game on Friday.
  • Sport Clips' "Chop": Every Friday home game during the 2013 season, Sport Clips Haircuts is cutting hair for charity. Sport Clips stylist will give haircuts to fans at Top of the Chop for a $5 minimum donation to the Atlanta Braves Foundation.   • Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Georgia Lottery: Enjoy the Braves game and a spectacular fireworks show set to music following every Braves Friday home game.

Saturday, May 18 at 7:10 p.m. vs. Los Angeles Dodgers

  • Military Appreciation Day: The Braves will honor the United States Military and Armed Forces and pay tribute to those who have served our country during a special pregame ceremony. One hundred military members will be on the field to hold a giant flag across the outfield and others will line the base paths with players from both teams. Braves' game day staff that have served in the military will hold stars representing each branch.
  • BraveHeart: Welcome Back Veterans Southeast Initiative: The Braves and Emory University are partnering to offer veterans and veteran families free mental health services, including anonymous online screenings, educational outreach and clinical care coordination for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Services are available to for veterans in Georgia, South Carolina and Alabama. BraveHeart representatives will be onsite in Monument Grove distributing information about various resources available for veterans with PTSD.
  • Live Music in the Plaza: Fans will enjoy live music in Fan Plaza as Braves Band of the Year contestant, Moontower, will perform.

Sunday, May 19 at 1:35 p.m. vs. Los Angeles Dodgers

  • Casting Crowns Post-Game Concert: Award-winning contemporary Christian group Casting Crowns will perform a free post-game concert following the Braves vs. Dodgers matchup. Casting Crowns has sold more than 8.2 million albums, two-time American Music Awards winners and won the Grammy award for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album in 2006. The concert will begin at the conclusion of the game.
  • Live Music in the Plaza: Fans will enjoy live music in Fan Plaza as Braves Band of the Year contestant, King James, will perform.
  • Alumni Sunday: Braves alumni Jeff Treadway, Craig Skok and Adrian Divine will greet fans and sign autographs pregame. 
  • Kids Run The Bases: Presented by Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, we invite all kids 14 and under to run the bases after every regular season Sunday home game. Just meet at the Hank Aaron ramp at aisle 129 on the Field Level.

  • MLB "Breaking Barriers: In Sports, In Life" Essay Contest Winner: Sydney Laws, an 8th grade student from Ridgeview Charter Middle School in Atlanta, will be recognized during a special on-field presentation as one of the 10 finalist for the 2013 "Breaking Barriers: In Sports, In Life" essay contest. The Breaking Barriers essay contest encourages children to write about barriers they have faced and how they used the value exemplified by Jackie Robinson to deal with those obstacles. Sydney will be joined by Sharon Robinson, daughter of Jackie Robinson, who developed the Breaking Barriers program and a Braves player.
