Diaz ejected after disputing strike call
ATLANTA -- Braves outfielder Matt Diaz was ejected during the eighth inning of Monday night's 3-0 loss to the Yankees.

Diaz was not pleased when he struck out during his pinch-hit at-bat in the eighth inning. His frustration grew when he returned to the clubhouse and saw the second strike that had been called on him by home-plate umpire Alfonso Marquez.

Marquez has accounted for two of Diaz's three career ejections.
