Atlanta Braves fans will soon be able to show their team spirit and support the Atlanta Braves Foundation as they traverse Georgia's roads and highways, with a special edition, state-issued Atlanta Braves license plate. The first 1,000 fans to register, by Wednesday, March 21, will also receive two FREE tickets to a 2012 Braves game.
To be among the first fans in the state to sport the new Braves tag on your vehicle, place your $25 manufacturing reservation today at www.braves.com/tags. Credit cards will not be charged until 1,000 fans have signed up for the new tag.
Once manufactured, fans will be able to pick up their Atlanta Braves plate from their local county tag office. In addition to the manufacturing fee, the Department of Motor Vehicles will apply a standard $20 tag fee and $35 specialty tag fee, upon receipt. Fans can contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions about the program.
Since its inception in 1992, the Atlanta Braves Foundation has provided support to thousands of metro Atlanta based organizations and has contributed more than $3.5 million in financial assistance to the community.
