ST. LOUIS -- Catcher Brian McCann, who struggled after coming off the disabled list on Aug. 14, appears to be rounding into form.
McCann drove in a run in each of the Braves' first two games of the series against the Cardinals after going 5-for-36 in his first 10 games off the disabled list.
"I'm feeling a lot better," McCann said. "My swing is back."
The Most Valuable Player of the 2010 All-Star Game, McCann missed 16 games with a strained oblique muscle. He began the eight-game road trip with just two hits in his first 14 at-bats.
"I'm where I want to be going into this last stretch," he said.
