ST. LOUIS -- The Aussie has returned to form after missing 123 games with a lower back strain.
Braves reliever Peter Moylan threw a scoreless inning in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Cardinals. It was his third performance since returning to the roster on Sept. 4.
"Every time I go out there, I feel better," Moylan said. "I'm as close to 100 percent as I'm going to get."
Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez is happy with Moylan's progress.
"He's looked good," he said. "I'd say he's about to where he was before."
Moylan, a right-hander, recorded a perfect inning on Monday in his return. He was saddled with his first loss of the season Wednesday in Philadelphia, but he bounced back Friday with his second scoreless frame in three outings.
"We're going to need him down the stretch," Gonzalez said.
